In the center of Trujillo you found the Main Square that is the hearth of the old section of Trujillo. The centre of Trujillo has many things like the old Cathedral , the Casonas (old houses), the three statues that represent the 3 moments of the people's struggle for independence from oppression, struggle and liberation.





















The catedral was built betwen 1647 and 1666. It's structure is soild, designed this way to adapt to earthquakes that afect the Pacific Ocean area of Peruvian coast. It's interior is sober enough.



The Casonas are old constructions that were built when were colonies in Peru. Some of them are well preserved and others not.
